Starting March 30, 2020 and at least through the end of Spring term, we no longer offer in-person appointments. We are now using Zoom for drop-in advising and all scheduled advising appointments. Please use drop-in hours as much as possible. All current BB and BMB students should schedule a 30-minute advising appointment in Weeks 4-9 per instructions below.
Advising Spring 2020

We use a team approach to advising, meaning BB and BMB students will work with all members of the advising team over the course of their undergraduate career on a rotation basis rather than being assigned to just one advisor. We try to be as accessible as possible to students. All members of the BB/BMB advising team are research or teaching faculty which enables us to work with our students in different settings.

Drop-in advising: Spring 2020

Drop-in advising is for quick (less than 5-10 minutes) questions only. If you need more assistance, please schedule an appointment per the advising assignment below. Advisors will not distribute PINs during drop-in advising. If you need a form signed, please complete all relevant sections and sign at the appropriate student signature space. Then email the completed form with a note of explanation to both Kari van Zee and Lauren Dalton (team tagging during COVID-19 restrictions).
During the drop-in hour time window, click on the drop-in session you would like to attend below and you will automatically be sent to the ZOOM virtual waiting room. When the advisor is ready to chat with you, they will admit you to the meeting. If you are contacting the advisor during Drop-Ins, it may take time for them to meet with you, depending on the number of students accessing Drop-Ins and already in the queue.
